Kosem Sultan TV show is a sequel of the most successful historical Turkish series, The Magnificent Century - Suleyman the Magnificent. The action takes place at about 35-40 years after sultan Suleyman Khan's death and tells the story of a Greek slave in the harem, Anastasia, when she becomes the favourite of sultan Ahmet. She will be given the new name Kosem and she will become one of the most powerful women in the Ottoman Empire, having an ascension much alike Hurrem, Suleyman's famous wife. Kosem practically lead the Ottoman Empire in the first half of the 17th century.

- Erkan Kolçak Köstendil - Shahin Giray Han of Crimea; he dreams to become sultan of the Ottoman Empire because he and his twin brother Mehmet, are great-great-grandsons of Genghis Khan.
