Feriha is a beautiful and inteligent girl from a poor family. She wins a scholarship at the university and there she meets Emir Sarrafoglu, a very rich young man who little by little falls in love with her. Feriha wants to hide her social background and pretends she is rich too, but after a while she discovers that she is madly in love with Emir and she can't lie to him anymore. The decision to tell him the truth proves to be a very difficult one, because this might be the end of her dream. Fortunately, Emir finds out the truth but it's too late to give Feriha up, he loves her too much. Though, he can't forgive her that easily. Their destiny has curles and changes because they also have tenacious enemies: Cansu, the girl who dreams of Emir, Halil, the psychotic who has an obsession for Feriha, Ece, the one whom Emir should have married, Hande, who has known and loved Emir since childhood. Feriha's dream will become true, but as if her destiny was not happiness, someone pulls a gun trigger at their wedding....
All in all, the TV series Feriha ( Adını Feriha Koydum / I named her Feriha) is one of the most viewed telenovela in the countries where it was broadcasted.

Hii Johanna I just want to know if medceizer have such an disastarous ending too coz you mentioned they prefered sad endings.So is it true in case of that show also coz I am planning to watch it due to Cagatay as being an actor I liked him very much.But if this type of ending is also there then its better for me not to watch it coz I have not come over Feriha's death till now.

ReplyDeleteI'm Abhishek from India.I started watching this series from mid of July on TV.But within a short span of time I fell in love with it and watched it completely on internet(Youtube).Your episode summaries helped me to get a gist of the series even though I could not understand a single word of Turkish and I must thank you for the translation.
After watching the last episode I just cried and cried (I had not cried watching any TV series or movie before that).I wish they had a happy ending.I just want to remember those amazing moments of chemistry between Feriha & Emir so I have not watched Emir'in Yolu (It's flop anyway).
