Feriha and Emir last episode (67) synopsis
Feriha and Emir talk about their past. She figures out that Emir chose her, but she misunderstood him and left immediately with Levent to America. Little by little they start to become closer again and Emir behaves distantly to Ece, even if they are engaged.
Yavuz meets Sanem and Cansu at the hotel, but he changes his mind concerning Sanem's shares and doesn't buy them anymore. Seher comes home and tells to Mehmet that she was attacked and remained without money. Riza doesn't want Seher in their house, but Mehmet feels pitty for her and forgives her for one day. Then he tells her that she can stay at the hotel until she finds a job.
Koray and Gulsun divorce, but now Hande doesn't want Koray as her lover because of his marriage with a woman he never loved. Feriha manages to make her father accept her with all her dark sides. Levent asks Feriha to marry him but she refuses, and together with Emir decide to get married once again. The wedding begins. Riza asks Mehmet where is Zehra who should have come by now, but he has no idea why Zehra is not there. Levent comes and watches the ceremony from behind the fence, then he goes away disappointed. The bride and the groom are dancing. Feriha is so beautiful and Emir seems so happy. They look into eachother's eyes. But suddenly, a gun shot is heard and Feriha dies into Emir's arms.

DeleteNo, Zehra (Vahide) won't appear anymore in this series. She had a pause of filming of around 2 years, and when she was well again, she acted the role Hurrem in the Suleyman the Magnificent series, after episode 100.

ReplyDeleteThe original episodes last about 2 hours each without ads and the show finishes at episode 67. So there, in India, it must have about 200 episode. 1 hour plus ads, means about 40 minutes an Indian episode = 67x3=201

ReplyDeleteIt's confusing and not finished because the series was intended to have 3 seasons - Feriha shouldn't have died - but because Hazal Kaya was involved in other contracts and couldn't remain to film this series, the producers were forced to end the series with Feriha's sudden death.

ReplyDeleteThis is what I found 2 years ago on a facebook page dedicated to Hazal Kaya. Somebody wrote the summary of the plot of season 3. In my opinion, yes, Ece killed Feriha, because she was jealous that she took Emir again from under her nose, to say so. Some people said that Halil killed her, but Halil loved Feriha, he was obsessed with her. Moreover, he couldn't have known about the wedding, because it is supposed that he escaped from the hospital and went in the countryside to kill Zehra.
DeleteI am sure that the summary of the 3 season, as I found it on FB must have been from the real script, because it's logical and because it tells us facts that were never shown because the series was abandonned.
I can't suggest changings because the European culture is different. In my opinion the story is not realistic, in reality I doubt very much that a guy such as Emir Sarrafoglu could be manipulated so heavily by a common liar. Personnally, I didn't like the story so much, for me the truth matters the most, and many things here can't be real, they are forced. But again, I say that my culture is very different from the Turkish one, and there may be facts and reasons I cannot understand.
I liked the actors very much and their acting (I have a huge respect for the Turkish actors, generally speaking, they are very, very good actors, all of them), that's what I liked most and what made me stay in front of the TV screen to watch this show.

DeleteI know that some TV-s prefere to redimensionate the episodes, here, in my country, that happens too, but our main TV channel that broadcasts Turkish series, Kanal D whici is a subsidiary of a Turkish television, let them as they are, 2 hours and a half with commercials.

ReplyDeletePersonnally I don't own or produce any series :)) but I summarize the best series that were successful in my country, because I know their action. An exception is Kosem Sultana, a new historical series which is now being broadcasted in Turkey only.
DeleteHello Johanana thankx a lot for writing this series.Apart from the storyline twist and turns i think this shows background music ,natural acting of all the characters justifying their roles and both darker and brighter side of almost all the character is what makes it outstanding for me And who can forget the amazing chemestry of hazal and cagagtay.Not just they have beautiful faces and amazing prrsonality to be drool over but they also have such superb acting skills that we feel connected to them. Nothing looks fake.I feel good and bed for them and its very rare for me because i m nt generally of attach to tv and film characters bt they are among the few who touched my heart.my only complaint and one flaw for this series is its tregic ending.Dont you think a couple like feriha and emir desreves a happy ending.they make us believe in love (onscreen;) but yes they show us that real love will ultimately find its destiny no matter how much hurdles or struggles comes in its way. To be honest I Love feriha and emir and want them happy in end.Hazal and Cagatay have a print in my heart by their outstanding work in this series.I will always love them.Hope they would make a movie together in future:) You write my dear feriha and emir story so nicely so thank you again i can refer to it in future whenever i would miss them;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I also think that the Turkish have an extremely good acting school. And, since I am watching American series too, I can say that the American actors are trying to copy this style of acting. Though Americans are better in acting the feelings between a man and a woman. I noticed that in Turkish shows if there isn't a chemistry between the main actors in reality too, something isn't working with that series, while the Americans can play love perfectly, no matter what the real feelings between actors are.
DeleteI also wished that Feriha and Emir were happy in the end, but it wasn't up to me :) Anyway, I would have liked Emir to discover faster that Feriha lied to him. I think this is not credible that he found out the truth in more than a year.
I miss them too, mainly because out television hasn't broadcasted yet any other series with Hazal, and because Medcezir didn't have audience in my country and they cancelled it after about 35 episodes. Cagatay didn't deserve being cancelled :)
yup it is universal fact that Cagatay didn't deserve to be cancelled at all ;)He had shown his talent from beginning.I Think AFK was his first show and we all see how much he mesmrized us with his brilliant acting and looks also ;) A perfect combination of good personality,nice looks and acting skills.Same can be said about Hazal also but she began her acting career much before him.They both made up a beautiful,amazing couple whose make thing live on screens by their talent of superb acting.Thats why we love them.

Unfortunately the audience didn't like the fact that in this seqel Emir falls in love with another girl after 3 or 4 months after Feriha's death and the new series was cancelled.

ReplyDeleteI read that too on facebook pages, but I believe what the producers say: they never claimed that the script was made after a novel, so I don't believe that a novel about Feriha has ever existed. Actually, you can't find a novel with this name if you google-search for it :)

But I don't get one thing why is emer so much involved with ece if feriha doesn't like it...at one moment he says he loves feriha like madly and at another moment he fights with yavuz for ECE :(

6 months back when i saw the promo i never thought i would be hooked to this show and would also share my opinion but then AFK has been a unique show in many ways so it deserves its viewers feedback. My love for Turkey drew my attention towards Feriha(Indian title) nd to know the country n its culture i gave it a shot. Here we are on 64th eps n i know m gonna miss it till next few days after its over. Its disastrous ending offcourse makes those 6 months go like waste..but still i think the story for most of the episodes didnt loose the grip n kept us all hooked thru its twists n turns. Although episodes from 53-60 were most dragged ones. Here in India we have few drama on air since last 8-9 yrs without any season brk so AFK was definitely a fresh breath for all of us who hv said a strict no no to indn dramas.Feriha is first Turkish Drama to go on air in India and it was a real treat to watch n know such beautiful artists across globe. Coming to AFK yes i think some characters were so confused abt what they really wan so sometimes they said something else and did something else. May be coz this is how humans are and perfection is just an illusion.Anyways AFK despite all its flaws will be remembered for its perfect casting, the lead chemistry and offcourse impeccable expressions by most of the cast :)
Tashy you said it so beautifully... I am surprised to hear that in India Feriha is the first Turkish drama broadcasted on tv. We've been watching Turkish series since long ago, about 5 years at least. There is another very good show, "1001 nights" with Halit Ergenc (who played Suleyman the Magnificent). It would be a pitty not to be broadcasted in India too. It had a huge success in South America last year and I am sure it would be successful everywhere in the world.

DeleteHi Johanna..thankyou dear.. Yeah AFK is first Turkish show to air in India. So now u can make out the excitement level of AFK indian fans. Before AFK most of us knew turkey through indian movies shot in Turkey or through travel channels/magazines. ND I don't even knew how Turks actually look like n what is their culture so I felt so compelled to watch it n enjoyed the show thoroughly. Actually Indian TV industry in itself is very huge n our dramas are also aired in other countries. And along with Hindi we have so many regional languages and so we have many regional TV industries as well so may be that is why it took so long for anyone to come forward and take the initiative to broadcast international shows. But we are glad that now our tv has also become so diversified. Apart from American series(which comes in original format on eng channels) Pakistani & Turkish shows are now aired. Pakistani shows comes without dubbing as Urdu n Hindi are same in speaking so they are aired in bulk but as for Turkish drama they have to be dubbed in Hindi so don't know what would be their frequency of appearing on Indian TV. As for now we only have got to know AFK artists. So don't know abt any other show but its good to hear from you about it. I just hope that channel continues with this initiative nd not just stops with AFK. Because art knows no border and good art from any part of the world can make its place I the heart of its audience...and above all good piece of art deserves to be known and appreciated...

I accidently landed on AFK while it was being aired on Zindagi channel and I never thought that I would one day get so attached to this story.
I am soooo obssessed with Feriha(Indian version)..I just cannot explain it in words. The casting,plot,dialogue-delivery,splendid chemistry,beautiful locations(cannot forget the college scenes and that particular building where Feriha lived..and THE PARK which witnessed all the highs and lows of Femir!) all the twists and turns and most importantly-yeahh its highly magical background music.I am glad that I found a place(like this) where I can get connected to AFK fans like myself and share how I feel about the show and yes-just as Nishanti said-I too dream one day of meeting Feriha and Emir..so that I can tell them how deep an impact it left on me and my other fellow Indians..
Now the show is coming to an end..tomorrow Finale would be telecast-19th March 2016. And Tashi has very appropriately put it in words. AFK being the first Turkish drama to be aired on Indian television(Zindagi channel-cannot thank you enough!!)has created a sensation all over the nation.
What touched my heart-was this young girl and her dreams and wishes.And it all starts with her fantasy which she effortlessly manages to achieve with her lies and eventually falls head-over-heels for a tall,handsome and rich boy Emir Sarrafoglu. Each and every episode of it never failed to deliver fresh twists to the main part of the story.ALL the actors were quite suitable for their roles and amazing dedication towards their work could be seen.Each character added versatality and definition which gradually enhanced its total outlook for its audience.
As Feriha is coming to an end..I am so worried and sad due to its tragic ending-for any reason it might be. Feriha shouldn't have died..there could have been other sorts of additions and alterations to interest the audience.When the show was gaining so much popularity -the production was at the peak of success and stardom,they should'nt have let it go in the first place due to any rhyme or reason..!!
I used to wait for it the whole day and my stress due to hectic work schedule used to get relieved just by that one hour of episode.I feel like crying over it .I loved watching Feriha and I will remember everything about it till my last breath! I am sure true AFK fans will agree to it-because they exactly know what I feel and am going through..
I wish if Hazal and Cagastay could work together more often so that I could see the pair and cherish their bonding.I wish there was another season to it-Another season with same cast yet something different.I just cannot get over the fact that Feriha would no longer be aired.
You could reply if you wanna share something or can relate to me..I mean that is how AFK fans especially in India can relieve eachother and feel less traumatized :( :(
It seems its a mutual feeling of all AFK fans worldwide i.e. to visit turkey and meet cagatay and hazal coz I also wanted that and read the similar comments from others :) yup I Have mentioned earlier in my comment on this blog that main beauty of this show is that it represents humans as they are,not some perfectionist leads and now I Am glad to see that others viewers have same feeling about it.Its really a unique show which bound us to present our views on it.I am presenting my views on any series first time.Hazal and Cagatay have mesmerized us truely :)

ReplyDeleteIt depends.cause if zindagi showed third Season after feriha's death then it may continue till approximately 20episodes but if they didn't show 3rd season then only 5 to 6 episodes are remains.to end it.

DeleteNo 3rd season would not be shown as Zindagi has already aired the promos of Pak show Mere Humdum Mere Dost starting from 21st march at 7.20pm. So 9episodes more and Feriha alvida..
Aww.. And bdw real femir fanscan't watch 3rd season.actually i had already decided that i won't watch 3rd season. Because of two reasons 1st for sure emir's tragedy after feriha's death and 2nd emir's new love interest.

Had it not been for Hazal and Çagatay brilliant on screen chemistry we would not have been so concerned about its ending..As an audience I feel if Hazal would have stayed then definitely there was a scope for happy ending may it b season 3..4..etc. But as an individual I respect Hazal's choice as I too personally feel that there is no scope left for the character and the problems in the couples life would have become more and more repetitive. So m glad its ending other wise I would have myself give upon the show disheartingly. I think every good artist wants to grow more and more as an artist. I saw an interview of Hazal where she told abt her other contracts and so she has to go while channel wanted to continue so last 2 episodes(66-67) were abrubtly shot to end her character otherwise season 2 last episode was 65. After AFK all her projects floped nd many ppl blamed this for her wrong choice of AFK quit. But this is what life is about. U gotta try out and fail instead of not even trying out out of fear that u may or may not b accepted for the choices. She seems to be very satisfied with her choices and has no qualms about it. And honestly am so proud of her and glad that i came to know her thru AFK. But whom I felt very sorry for is Çagatay coz it was his first show and he may not have so liberal with the choices and he stayed with the show..changed his look to shaved head(lolz that reminds me of Indian movie Ghajini) and took the responsibility of the show on his shoulders but then people who made him star with all their love bombarding suddenly rejected the show with him in it...though its makers who are at fault but actors have to suffer this.. ��

But whom I felt sorry for is dear Çagatay bz it was his first show and hence he may not have been so liberal with his choices and he stayed back with the show ..changed his look to shaven head( lolz that reminds me of Indian movie Ghajini) took all the responsibility over his shoulders to carry forward the show and all those ppl who made him star with their love bombarding suddenly refused AFK with just emir in it..though makers are here at the fault but actors have to suffer this..��
Yup, it reminds Ghajini and Ashiqi2 but then also no one can replace feriha.because it's really different from others,each and every character has given 100% .of course no need to talk about femir.you i can't even imagine that what will happen when i will see last episode. I have got connected with them very emotionaly. And i would never forget this story in my life.it has created very special place in my heart.and hope we all will get chance to meet hazal-cagatay and they will also know how much we Idian fans are crazy about them.

I dont' say that they should have made up season 3 or 4 without credible story but just wanted to see its end as a proper and logical ending.I personally prefer happy ending.But thats fine if they end up with feriha death .Main thing is that they assosiate our beloved Emir With some other girl just to strech the series.It is what i were talking about .It was totally not a justice to a beautiful love story of feriha and emir .I respect Hazal decision and not blaming her for leaving the show but at the same time feeling sorry for Cagatay also coz inspite of his brilliant performance in third series this can not be appreciated due to Hazal's absence.I appreciate his acting skills but he should not have done it without Hazal.
DeleteYup Trupty Feriha can't replaced by anyrhing and personally I don't think its like Ashiqui or Ghazni either. Its unique in its way.Even minor characters do good job in acting.And yes they made their place in our heart and i give its credit to Hazal and Cagatay's intense chemistry and acting skills. They are among the few performers of the world who have a perfect combo of beautiful face,amazing personality and superb acting skills like I Said before and watching them together on screens is not just a visual treat but an appreciation of brilliant art work also :) Fans are crazy for them worldwide for these reasons cheers AFK fans:) I hope we meet them one day.Its a wish but along with it I also wanted that if thats not the case they (cagatay and Hazal) atleast would come to know how much we Indians like and adore them and their talent of acting:)

ReplyDeleteThanks guys for reading n replying to my comments..this is first time I hv discussed a tv show over net..yes Trupti 100% agreed none has the power to overrule femir chemistry..emir'in yolu video reminded me of Ghajini(while it was a punishment to watch literallly ��) coz d situation is same of lost lo e depression and shaven head look..haha..but femir story is unique n I loved this couple so much and I love the fact that both being so strong headed still matured and grew together in love despite the fact they r the youngest ones on the show. In many scenes they hv outdone the elders with their sets of beliefs and principles. And honestly i could have never be able to bear the promo ads of 3rd season I the channel would hv aired it. I even hated to c emir'in yolu video suggestion alongside AFK videos..unfortunately later one is also withdrawn now..

ReplyDeleteno..no..Nishanti i didnt mean u..i read here n there ppl complaining that Hazal should have not left the show..so i just shared my general opinion here..and yes i totally agree with u as i too dont like dragged episodes. What i was trying to say is that the makers may have in mind initially to do smth different with Femir story when they had planned out the third season..as Hazal said that season 2 was wrapping up at episode 65 where feriha leaves emir. But Hazal's quit may hv changed their whole idea of 3rd season plot. While 3rd season plot without feriha is utter nonsense and even reading the later part of the story is a big torture..bcoz when they showed a guy truly deeply madly in love with a girl for 67 long episodes how come his love got over in 3 months after finding a new girl..i mean its ok to move on but even in real life its not possible to move on so easily. Few AFK viewers even supported the idea that ppl should move on practically..but isnt it that is why we watch dramas to get out of our dull lives n when drama get filled with same despair n disappointments whats d use of watching it. Stories take us to the world of fantasy and everyone wants to fantasize true love..there it doesnt matter whether lovers live together or die together..there mere being together in any form matters...
Tashi H.we have almost similar views on it :) Its a little disappointing for me after knowing from you that they actually want to do something diff in season 3 With feriha and emir.if that would be happen, It would be great as I already mention how much i waanna see them to act together.And i thought everybody wants that too.Anyways this is mere our wish coz this could not happen but yet i am satisfied that I can watch a really brilliant pair on screen nd not in a movie in a tv series ;) They have a lasting impression on me and always be loved and remembred by me.Hazal and Cagatay are not less than any superstars for me.. I wish they make a movie on it. ReplyDeleteohhh..ya poor Cagatay i heard was happy to know that with the plot of third season he wil get to showcase his acting abilities more..so may be thats why he didnot leave and also i think debut actors always want to play safe in the start of their career..well this is funny but i feel little satisfied that other part of the world also delivers garbage plots as our drama makers do just for monetary sake..otherwise i used to think only we are dying in the dearth of good creativity.. :p anyways i would also love to see them(lead n other actors too as they all are mindblowing) in our country one day..by the way few days back i read Star India is airing Is pyar ko kya naam du(season1) in Turkey n lead actor Barun Sobti went to Turkey for Promotions..i was wondering why no one comes here for promotion when sm international project is aired..may be they are too confident of their work alone that they dont need a promotion
yup Like we are respecting Hazal' s decision we should also do it for Cagatay also. Afterall he was a newbee at that time and had done a brilliant performance in that show.He do his best but this was not fault of Hazal and Cagatay.I agree totally with you that it was the fault of the producers and the makers.But they got their response of it ;) and yes they are the Same people who make feriha and emir came alive onscreens so even I cant hate them ;)AFK has been broadcasted in moe than 7 or 8 countries i think till now.Their popularity chart in greek was very much high.But going to everywhere for its promotion is not logical to them now.It had broadcasted in Turkey in 2011 and in India in 2016, See the time difference.They obiviously would not wish to go abroad to promote it after such a long time ;) I think thats the reason behind it not as you say they dont need promotion etc.:) I wish they both acheive greater heights in their fields whatever projects they are doing now coz they are talented and deserves this in every respect.

Watching AFK from last year. Just accidently discovered this show on zindagi. Mainly guys don't watch such things. But I admit I'm in love with thie drama. I got too much emotionally attached with the emotions of this drama. In this drama mostly it's shown how misunderstanding ruins a relationship. And it feels soo real to me. I told my mom to watch this drama and she love it. And it is timing is around 7pm to 8pm in India. I'm watching this show daily after I back from my gym. And I read the season 2 final episode. I feel sad feriha dies. The story is kinda a tragedy in the end. The acting of Hazal Kaya is awesome. Today I watched the leap episode. As I missed it on saturday. I'm even surprised a lot of Indian watching it. Thanks Johanna for the translations.

ReplyDeleteAll what is happening at last are just the blunders done by the writer for the sake of finishing it.Otherwise this beautiful series cant be like this at end .Whatever I even dont want talk about the third one.Whatever I will always love Feriha and Emir and they will always be alive in my heart no matter whats its end.Their eyes speaks for them They are the first and probably the last one who make me connected to a screen character to such an extent. After a time I forget everything which is onscreens.Rare are the movies even which moved my heart but Emir and Feriha and AFK will be always in my heart inspite of all mistakes and faults done by them :)This is new for me to feel like this for a visual medium presention but its true they did it finally to me.my mother is also so attached to it and this is not going to change.I love Feriha and Emir but I love Emir more ;)Always love you.

I accidently landed on AFK while it was being aired on Zindagi channel and I never thought that I would one day get so attached to this story.
I am soooo obssessed with Feriha(Indian version)..I just cannot explain it in words. The casting,plot,dialogue-delivery,splendid chemistry,beautiful locations(cannot forget the college scenes and that particular building where Feriha lived..and THE PARK which witnessed all the highs and lows of Femir!) all the twists and turns and most importantly-yeahh its highly magical background music.I am glad that I found a place(like this) where I can get connected to AFK fans like myself and share how I feel about the show and yes-just as Nishanti said-I too dream one day of meeting Feriha and Emir..so that I can tell them how deep an impact it left on me and my other fellow Indians..
Now the show is coming to an end..tomorrow Finale would be telecast-19th March 2016. And Tashi has very appropriately put it in words. AFK being the first Turkish drama to be aired on Indian television(Zindagi channel-cannot thank you enough!!)has created a sensation all over the nation.
What touched my heart-was this young girl and her dreams and wishes.And it all starts with her fantasy which she effortlessly manages to achieve with her lies and eventually falls head-over-heels for a tall,handsome and rich boy Emir Sarrafoglu. Each and every episode of it never failed to deliver fresh twists to the main part of the story.ALL the actors were quite suitable for their roles and amazing dedication towards their work could be seen.Each character added versatality and definition which gradually enhanced its total outlook for its audience.
As Feriha is coming to an end..I am so worried and sad due to its tragic ending-for any reason it might be. Feriha shouldn't have died..there could have been other sorts of additions and alterations to interest the audience.When the show was gaining so much popularity -the production was at the peak of success and stardom,they should'nt have let it go in the first place due to any rhyme or reason..!!
I used to wait for it the whole day and my stress due to hectic work schedule used to get relieved just by that one hour of episode.I feel like crying over it .I loved watching Feriha and I will remember everything about it till my last breath! I am sure true AFK fans will agree to it-because they exactly know what I feel and am going through..
I wish if Hazal and Cagastay could work together more often so that I could see the pair and cherish their bonding.I wish there was another season to it-Another season with same cast yet something different.I just cannot get over the fact that Feriha would no longer be aired.

Yeah,I guess there are 3-4 background music in series but mostly that one which they used to play for femir is really emotional ,and i have also downloaded 2 videos of femir and their all cast's pic with that both background music.whenever i watch it. I get nostalgic.

Few yrs back when i was into Indian tv ..yes, few shows grabbed my attention but none could make me sit for it more than 6-7 months max..cz my patience is my prob..how strong the lead is if the story is going haywire with the same old conspiracies i cant take it so never saw a complete Indian drama..so this was the different case with AFK..the story line which was very good originally though lost track in mid..but still managed to make me sit just for its intriguing twists..the whole cast even the most sidelined character never had been irritating..the breath taking lead chemistry n their intoxicating love story made me fall in love with them more n more each day..d mellifluous background score(which is only left with me now to play on my cell when i'll miss it)..n offcourse the eye soothing backgrounds of Istanbul,..this all has connected us to the show like that beautiful Bosporus Bridge connecting the two continents..our hearts got connected similarly n it never made me feel that part of world doesn't belongs to me..after all the human race is made up of same blood..every day we live with same insecurities..same complaints..same pains & same hopes..we all behave, think..n even dream similarly..n above all we all want to love n to be loved back..no matter how many borders man make..how many more languages get evolved..ultimate truth is we all speak the same language within and every heart is gifted to listen n understand the words of another heart lest we don't get captured in our own egos...
this is d reason i'll not forget this show cz it helped me communicate better within ..it helped me travel the world of diff culture n living but with same human emotions..n let me believe that at the end we all are just the same..set out in the quest of LOVE...
Well-said Tashi ..I am a bit relieved due to this kind of AFK support system from its out-growing fan base..otherwise my emotions were all bottled-up and it was kind of suffocating me due to its unsatisfying end..I just did not know what to do..and that was it..Teary-eyed,I started my quest for my-kind of AFK fans..fans who are madly in love with the show..but found none was so expressive and open about describing their real love and interest for the show. But finally I have found you all..and I definitely feel sooo much better than before..trust me.

Indian dubbing for Feriha is indeed awesome .Every character voice match up with their face .Especially Emir'voice.I have heard this voice before in history channel and discoveries documentries dubbed in hindi but dont know who is behind it .Its really a beautiful voice chosen for emir and ofcourse they did a great job in dubbing every other character voice also.But I wanna share something here.I am so obssesed with Hazal and Cagatay and this show that for just the sake of hearing their actual voice and deleted scenes ofcourse I watched Adini Feriha Koydum,the original version in turkish on you tube.I could not understand Turkish but I got whats going on.It was also a great and unique experience for me related to this show.I tried watching a thing in their original format and language not in hindi or english.:)

Deletehehe..nikita..u r not alone dear even i was very curious to hear the real voices n the expressions..i too saw few episodes of original AFK..Cagatay voice is really awesome..n as well as of Hazal n other casts..but here who gave voice to feriha that voice was as sweet n delicate as Feriha..very different from Hazal's voice..n yes these voices r so familiar to us..all Mrs.Sanem,zehra, Seher etc esp Mr. Levant..in fact its funny everytime levant use to utter his dialogue many times my subconscious took me to the factories..hotels..n the other thing that voice told abt on fox, discovery ..ngc etc..but luckily i never heard Emir's n Feriha's voice before so freshness n originality of both the characters remained in my mind..but i wished these dubbing artists too get their credit share in the end casting..these too r great artists..as on those channels they always sound so flat(obv cz that is all non fiction)..n here they could lend so many expressions to their voices..apt for a drama..commendable job. I think some sky dubbing production mix..they gave credit in the casting..but nowhere in the end the name of individulas.

ReplyDeleteHi Johanna. So I just watched the last episode of Feriha and I'm kind of confused. Who exactly kills Feriha? It was so weird, like didn't everyone hear the gunshot? Why didn't they rush to help her? And also Emir has been shot like twice in the show. In the second time he was shot, Yavuz literally shot him 3 times, but he survived while Feriha died. What even? Can you please clear the confusion, thanks

Even though hazal's dates were already given to other serial they could do happy end.but they don't wanted to do end of series.but unfortunately 3rd season got flop.infact hazal's new sries for which she had left Feriha also flopped.but i was expecting that its okay that they ended sadly by killing feriha because i have heard that most kf the turkish series ends badly.but at least they should not show emir with other girl in 3rd season .i don't think so that any femir's real fan can see it.instead doing that they should show femir's baby girl who would be the hope and purpose of emir's life

Thankx alot for this blog Johanna .so finally today it ends in India leaving a fixed place in my heart forever.Through this blog I could able to express my views and feelings about this show.I enjoy discussing and voice up my opinion about it with other fans whom I met here and ofcourse you to whom I interact firs time before all.This show gave so much to think and a new feeling of appreciating a drama to this level.And ofcourse the despite its unsatisfied ending it cant lose its charm from our heart.This drama introduce me with the amazing Hazal and Cagatay,I had said enough about them even now I have so much words for them This is not possoble to write all here.Whats more releaving is I found out by this discussions that all we have almost similar views and feelings assosiated with it ,if we leave some exceptions.This is a brilliant example for me that a brilliant art of work influence all human in almost similar ways.After this show I start liking Turkey and its culture.I want to explore it further and meet cagatay and Hazal in my life someday.But whether I met them or not like I said before they would always have their print on my heart forever :) Their is so much I said before and their is not limit of words for describing my unique experiences for this show so I have to stop myself now.Always love AFK (feriha) and its characters specially leads and its music.

ReplyDeleteFinally the journey that started 6 months ago has reached its end..n we saw it all ..the most intense of human emotions abt unconditional love,broken hearts,shattered dreams,hopes n despairs,ambitions & prides...n baseless prejudices..n all the vices n virtues humans r made of..we loved it..hated it(for end) so moreover loved it..thats why kept watching it eagerly. Just few days back I stumbled across this wonderful blog n was startled to see so many indian fans communicating their hearts here that compelled me to join in. Here I bounded with wonderful ppl who keep the similar notions abt the show..that satiated my heart so much..my love for Turkey has just grown more everyday..n i'l always remember these wonderful artists..whether we get to see more of their work or not..n all my AFK frnds m gonna miss all our convos..really n I know that one day some other beautiful piece of art will rebound us all again..n one thing tl mention I loved how zindagi used its own way to end the show..with that beautiful poetic lines..for me it ended up on a tome of immortal love..n I don't want to think that there is a 3rd season to it..well done Zindagi team..
And though its not of any importance to me as for me makers r n will be the real killer of feriha but still Johanna if u read this I want u to know that our channel included 2 scenes of 3rd season at the end which revealed that Halil was the real culprit..so if that's true n you want to change the synopsis for other countries readers..neways tones n tones of thanx to u Johanna for u were the reason for our connections..love u all... ..

DeleteYup Tashi.Here again our views meet dear.For me Feriha is ended at their wedding scene and moreover at the beautiful poem at the tomb.Season 3 only exist for me for only one fact that Emir punishes the real culprit and takes revange.This is enkugh to know.I dont know if I can gather enough courage ever to watch this malfunctioning of my favourite show in future.But now I am relieved to share all this.

ReplyDeleteHello Johanna , this was the best serial I have ever seen in my life I was feeling very upset by seeing to emir crying at feriha's funeral . This was the not correct way of ending the serial.
ReplyDeleteFinally,after 6 months that day came,exact 6 months ago,i remember i had told to my sister that new series "feriha"is gonna start,and that lead actress is very beautiful. But i didn't saw first 2 episodes.then on first sunday i saw back to back repeated episodes.but then also i didn't find it so interested.but when i read last episode of feriha on Facebook (as per my habit )then i got emotional about femir.after that literary i became crazy for femir.because i had never seen such story not in Indian as well as American series or movies.and damn sure i won't see ever in future .it has stolen my heart,not only femir but also each and every character in series.
ReplyDeleteFrom zehra to tulin each and every characters i would never forget in my life.i would always remember feriha's dressing style ,her hairs,her bag,her ear rings(which was given by zehra),emir's car drive ,pub ,college,feriha's house where they alway used to have dinner,that apartment ,femir's flat and for sure that garden where every thing has started and ended too. And most important is that background music which alway make me emotional. And apart from femir i can't forget zehra,hande, and koray's acting too.in last day's hande had made special place in my heart.whatever she had done it was great.i learned alot from this serial,thank you so much zindagi for showing such a wonderful series,i am so lucky that i got chance to see such amazing series .and thanks to johanna to just because of you i got chance to share everything in my heart with my all friends.mostly i found My Indian friends on this blog. thanks to them as well. i hope zindagi would show us more turkush series.cause now I am completely in love with turkey.but nothing can replace 'Feriha'.it was just unique love story.every emotion was there.but nw but i have to accept it has ended.how long I can stuck with it.but i am sure that one i would obviously meet hazal and cagatay .and visit tukey.thanks once again everyone.

DeleteThis is the heartly wish of all the fans to watch them together who have seen them onscreens.The magic they create together onscreens is uncomprehable.I have so manny wish related to it which I have mentioned earlier here and watching them together again is definitly one of them But this is also a fact that so successfull a couple on a tv series rarely repeat themselves for their creative satisfaction but yet their is a chance.Lets hope for the best.May be they woukd come tkgether with another projects for their fans sake and then it would not matter what tge genere be(whether its a movie or series or any other format) I am also eagerly waiting for that to happen and I am positive about it that we will see them together again

ReplyDeleteAccording to me they should have shown that feriha deliver emir's kid(baby girl) when is in US.but when she come to turkey then emir missunderstand that it's feriha and Levant' s kid but.on finale in garden when they talk with each other then she reveals that it's emir's kid(girl).so after death that kid (girl)become only purpose of emir's life.because he always see feriha in their daughter .and most important they should have took that little feriha as her baby girl.and emir is telling this story to his daughter.and series ends.
I think instead of showing that other girl with femir as his love interest in 3ed season.this idea could be better.because it could people more emotional. And i know no one wolud like to see emir with new girl and it can be impossible beacause if any person who loves someone truly,madly and deeply then how can that one move on very soon .it's really strange.

DeleteI completely agree that no one would like to see Emir with a new girl and hence this piece of work as shown in Emir Yolu didn't work and the TRPS suffered in Turkey.
Your idea as a writer is good. But this show gained a lot popularity on Turkey in 2012.Hazal Kaya left the show because she got a lot famous and mayve wanted to get payed more and got more good money making serial and projects. So she left the show. And the producer get forced to rush the show. And the writer finally made feriha dead. Otherwise the show must go for long.

I am not saying that they should have not produce 3rd season or hazal should have not leave the show .i know it's the part of their profession and they had to do this. I was saying that they should extend the season like I have explained. And it could happen without hazal.
DeleteYour idea is impressive dear but personally I dont wish to see they should have sterch this story without feriha in any aspect.They should atleast respect Hazal kaya brilliant work.I cant see any other storyline can make her absence justifiable.They better end it at their wedding with a happy end.It would be a real treat for all its viewers.If they further want to work with the rest of cast they should have made another new series with them instead of doing unjustice to this beautiful story at end.Season 3 without Hazal is undenaible in every respect at least for me.

DeleteI guess the producers were so overwhelmed with the viewer's response and the success that they were receiving, so they thought of continuing it anyhow(be it with or without Feriha)in order to sustain their position which they had created through AFK. And sooner they realized its effects and Season-3 lost that magical charm.

Deleteyes exactly this i was thinking..u said it right Nikita..Without hazal there is no feriha for us..n without feriha there can be no AFK seasons too..typically saying the story which started with feriha has to end up with feriha only..cz it was her story n every other character is secondary to her..even Emir..but Trupti ur idea is great..if we consider other seasons to be made..atleast its satisfying to watch..

ReplyDeleteThere is something so special about this one show Adini Feriha Koydum(A.F.K)that has left such a deep impact on all the viewers that makes us come here to express our feelings about it.
No doubt,it was superb from all aspects of an audience.Hence it gained popularity in countries where ever it was aired.
I would not like to believe that there is another season to it.A season where there is no Feriha in it.Because honestly as per me,there is NO Feriha without Emir and NO Emir without his Feriha!!
However,the production came up with Season -3 Emir Yolu(Emir's way) which continues without Feriha. And I guess there are less chances of it being broadcast on Zindagi in India as it didn't gather much support from the audience in Turkey and due to poor response it messed up with the TRPs for the same reason-there was no Feriha in it.
The story of AFK being imaginary in nature made us believe that it was real owing to just one attribute-its simplicity.
The story which depicts a young girl who is deprived of all the luxuries being daughter of a janitor is humble but ambitious.She realizes her dreams and one day becomes that very person whom she had imagined to be one day.And in her journey(college days) she meets the love of her life.A boy of her age,good-looking ,rich and sophisticated who was also in search of love(as he too was neglected by his parents from the time he was born).A person whom she could trust so much and he was like her own reflection-Emir Sarrafoglu.
This is a bitter-sweet reality of so many girls out there in the world who face similar life conditons like her and have fantasies as she had.
This is really inspirational for all the women out there for sure.It tells us that nothing is impossible to achieve through hardwork( and some luck!).Moreover,it also makes us aware of the right path needed to be chosen to achieve our dreams otherwise one might get caught in his/her own web of lies and its consequences thereafter.
This made the story come alive as it related so closely with the reality of life.I am sure many will agree with me.(You can Comment below!)
Team Zindagi has done such a marvelous work with the dubbing.It is so amazing as compared to other countries who have dubbed it in respect of Hindi translations.It gave meaning and contributed wonderfully to the picture depiction like no other!
Each character-big or small was important and added uniqueness in its own way.Whether it was Lavent or Gulfidaan aunty..They had their own set of issues but it never seemed to interfere with the main plot.And this was commendable. I am highly motivated by the show and would like to meet the cast and crew of the show someday ..I hope!!
I guess we the fans of such an amazing show should not have an abrupt end like the show itself had!
I would like to thank Johannah from the bottom of my heart that such a beautiful blog was created by her wherein I could express my views and emotions.
As for you AFK fans..let us remain connected and continue to share our feelings about the show. Feriha never dies..all that happens for me- is a happy ending where Emir and Feriha get married and promise to live happily together ever after in the presence of their families and friends in the same old lovely park which witnessed all the highs and lows of FeMIR..there is no force in the universe that can separate them now-not even death!(Not even a bullet,in this case).
And on that HAPPY note-Cheers to all the FERIHA fans for a successful completion of the series.
Let us keep the spark alive..by continuing to share our opinions and feelings..

Deletehey Shefali..i understand ur emotions..i myself have never ever blogged before..n here i hv written posts as big as highschool essays..cz i hv so much to say.. once i start relieving my emotions abt this show its hard for me to stop..neways i agree with ur every word..i too felt the same way..even on next page of this blog i wrote similar notions..my only prob with this show has been its theme..its title "Adini Feriha Koydum(I named her feriha)" which Zehra everytime used to assert so much that Feriha will bring happiness to her n others life just like her name..n thats why she named her feriha..i just wished makers would have stuck to this idea n made their Feriha deserving of all the happiness in the world all due to her own efforts..no matter what was the issue with Hazal..or whatever was the channel pressure to continue the successful show..on the ethical ground they should hv done the required justice to their work of art n let have been spread this beautiful message across the globe that every individual irrespective of gender, caste,status etc..has right to dream nd deserves to live the life of their dreams..thats only what i feel..
Hey i have seen some videos of season 3 .especially after gunesh's entrybin emir's life. If you are real fan of femir you can't watch those episodes.they shown some romantic scenes between gunesh and emir.it reminds us femir,and obviously we get upset that how can emir move on very soon

ReplyDeleteFinally seen the last episode of season 2. Yesterday it was india vs pakistan T20 World cup match. I recorded the show on my Dish tv hd+. I have many episode record on my hard drive. Well get to the point. Season 2 is over. I haven't seen any advertisements about the season 3. Soo any indian fan know, will Zindagi is going to telecast the 3rd season AFK? Trupti can I know any from where you seen the glimpses of season 3. I'm really excited to see.

ReplyDeleteInitially this serial was very interesting. This was one of the most interesting serial i had earlier. But eventually this serial was unnecessary so much stretched that it become so boring to watch it. unnecessary so many unwanted characters were introduced and so many cross affairs due to which we lost our interest in this serial . I think now this serial so over on Zindagi. Thanks God.

No such show has ever been made in India till now .I'm following these two through almost all social sites. They are somehow my inspiration now, keep it up . I wil really miss this show. Thank you.
